Row Addition of Three Numbers
Addition of three numbers can be performed by adding at digits at ones place together and adding the digits at tens place together.
Let us perform the following addition
50 + 12 + 1 = ?
We will first add the digits at ones place that is 0, 2, 6 and the result will be 8 which will be placed in the ones place of the answer
Then we will add the digits at tens place that is 5, 1, 1 and the result will be 7 which will be placed in the tens place of the answer
As shown in the figure below
The final result will be 78
